Smashing Pumpkins Cancel European Dates

The Smashing Pumpkins were forced to pull the plug on a show on Wednesday night in Brussels, Belgium after only two songs because of frontman Billy Corgan's ailing throat. After performing a pair of new songs, "Metal Machine" and "The Everlasting Gaze," the band left the stage at Cirque Royal before a gravel-voiced Corgan returned and informed the audience that he was too sick to continue.
